Frank Harvey’s will undertake to make most styles, provided they feel that it will fit the foot. Frank Harvey’s make shoes for most types of feet for clients who simply require an individually designed pair. We feel that understanding feet is the key. Very precise foot measurements are taken at the outset and a last is built up to individual specification which can be retained for repeat orders. Patterns are then cut to fit that last and then the uppers are cut, closed (stitched) and then lasted by hand and at this stage the shoe is now a 3 dimensional shape which means the customer can try the shoe to make sure all the fitting qualities are in place where any adjustments can be made if necessary. The soles are offered in a variety of materials from man-made to top quality leather. Each shoe, once completed, is subjected to rigorous quality inspection and great attention is paid, not only as to how the shoe looks, but also how comfortable it feels on the foot.
